Program

1st week: basic alpine instruction

2nd week: races in the Swiss region of the Mont-Blanc massif

EXCURSIONS
All the high mountain races are done under the responsibility of certified Valais guides. They will choose the races and routes based on the weather conditions and the ability of the participants.

Journey to Martigny
Participants must arrive on the first day of the camp in Martigny before 5 p.m. at the latest.
Travel costs to Martigny are not included in the fixed price of the camp. For foreign participants choose Geneva airport, the closest to Martigny.

Assembly point in MartignY
Café, bar "Le Terminus", opposite the station.
The transfer to the camp is organized.

End of Camp
On Saturday, return to Martigny station in the morning.
FAMILY DAY
2nd Sunday of the camp from 9:30 a.m. (in all weathers)

Access by car is signposted from the entrance to the village of Praz-de-Fort. Car parking is recommended in the forest, along the road before arriving at the camp.

Assurance
Swiss participants must have personal accident insurance, covering high mountain accidents and evacuation by helicopter.
Certificate to be presented on arrival.

Each participant is requested to pay, until May 31 at the latest, the amount of CHF 1200.- (Swiss francs)

EQUIPMENT

It is imperative to be well equipped during your excursions in the mountains. You will find below the list of all the necessary equipment for your safety.
​
It is important to have good and solidhigh mountain shoes with VIBRAM soles, allowing you to climb, move on snow and ice and attach crampons. it is not necessary to buy any as these shoes can be rented in Martigny with the help of the guides
​

Possible rental of climbing shoes, indicate the size when registering.
