While climbing peaks, Thomas the son of Rotarian Willy Kaiser promised himself to share his emotions with other young people. Well before he became a mountain guide he started a youth camp with the support of the youth and sport ministry and the Rotary Club of Martigny

​He disappeared very young in a car accident and the R.C Martigny decided to pursue his initiative. A mountain hut was built in the Val Ferret and three mountain guides members of the club organized the camp. Every members of the club are participating in the upkeep, the administration, the refurbishing and even the extension of this mountain hut.

​The camp is organized for 2 weeks in July for the youth of the world between the ages of 15 to 19. Professional guides are hired by the club and are initiating the young boys and girls to climbing techniques, security and all the secrets of the Alps.
